The Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations (Keystone Alliance) is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization, formalized in 1995 from groundwork laid in the 1980’s by paralegal associations in Pennsylvania. The Keystone Alliance consists of the following paralegal associations: Central Pennsylvania Paralegal Association (CPPA), Chester County Paralegal Association (CCPA), Lancaster County Paralegal Association (LCPA), Lycoming County Paralegal Association (LCPA), Montgomery County Paralegal Association (MCPA), Philadelphia Association of Paralegals (PAP), Pittsburgh Paralegal Association (PPA) and the York County Paralegal Association (YCPA). Official Position Adopted Regarding Regulation in Pennsylvania - On November 3, 2007 the Keystone Alliance adopted an official position on regulation of the paralegal profession in Pennsylvania - voluntary certification!
